Client Relations Manager

Canvaas is seeking a dynamic person to join our family as Client Relations Manager in order to create, foster and nurture long-term relationships with clients. You will communicate with, be responsible for, and resolve any issues that may arise to ensure that clients are satisfied with our services. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. If you also have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue and retain our customers.

We are seeking a person who is capable of developing a marketing plan, outline the approach and act as the go-between, providing an overview of options for branding, production, advertising or community outreach, taking the client's feedback to our team and helping refine services to meet the client's needs. While there is no specific type of education or degree necessary for becoming a Client Relations Manager for Canvaas, exceptional people skills are a necessity. Training or education in business management, interpersonal communications or public relations can prove to be valuable in order to provide background and knowledge on the best ways to effectively interact with our clients.

This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in a unique service environment

  • Proven experience as a Client Relations Manager or Relationship Manager

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets

  • Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus

  • Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)

  • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)

  • A customer-oriented attitude

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proven excellent client service and organizational skills; strong communication skills — both oral and written

  • Exceptional attention to the details and good troubleshooting skills

  • Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends – and/or from home

  • One-year experience in the brand management industry is a plus

  • Problem-solving aptitude

  • Ability to work well with a team

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is a plus

  • Build relationships with key employees among customers

  • Study competition to find new ways to retain clients

  • Set targets and work diligently to meet them

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. design, production, senior management) to address clients’ needs
